Misguided Martha

🌕 “The Misguided Martha Era” (and Why Spirit Has You on Pause)

There’s a difference between psychics, and me.
I’m a psychic, of course — but I’m primarily a divine channel.

Let’s talk about what it’s really like to work with spirit guides — the inside track, if you will, to why they give the information they do.

The Spirit Guide’s Dilemma

Imagine knowing every possible path a person could take — every choice, every variable, every potential reality.

Now imagine someone comes to you, absolutely fixated on one particular option, and asks, “What should I do?”

The spirit guide looks at everything and goes,

“Martha* (not a real name, of course)… you could have something way, way better. But you don’t believe it’s possible for you. So… do we tell you about the option you’re asking for, even though it’s a closed door?”

Cue spirit guides sweating.

Because here’s the thing: Martha can’t hear them.

So the guides are pounding on the walls, trying to get her attention — while Martha goes from psychic to psychic, wondering why what she’s asking for isn’t manifesting. All she keeps hearing is:

“Something incredible is coming, Martha… truly. It’ll come when you least expect it — a move is aligned to you.”

And her guides are screaming, “YES! But not the move you’re thinking of!”

They know that what’s right for her — the thing that would blow her mind — is waiting just beyond her current fixation. But until she lets go, the energy can’t flow.

Why Spirit “Pauses” Your Manifestations

Martha’s focus is narrowing her awareness. She’s filtering out every sign that doesn’t fit her desired outcome — automatically rejecting anything that doesn’t prove her story.

And because she’s human, she doesn’t see how her energy is magnetizing resistance.

Her guides are twiddling their thumbs (not literally), thinking, “She’s already set up. She just doesn’t know it yet.”

So they start sending her angel numbers, intuitive nudges, and signs about clearing her energy — but she dismisses them because they don’t make sense in her current story.

Martha’s focus on doing keeps her from receiving. She believes rest doesn’t move energy.
(It does. It moves everything. Trust me. As a past non-rester… I take my downtime now. Costs too much not to.)

If Martha could just open up — create space in her auric field through allowing — she’d finally align with that new, incredible adventure that’s literally waiting for her. Like an excited puppy, tail wagging, ready to burst through the door the second she gives permission.

What Spirit Sees (That You Don’t)

What Martha doesn’t know is that her actual destination — the new city, the new love, the opportunities — is perfect for her.
She just can’t see it yet.

Spirit always sees everything you want.
They’re not denying you — they’re delivering.

But they’ll never deliver what’s meant for your next chapter if you’re clinging to the last one- it's not because they don't love you, it's because there's actually no ROOM, to bring it in. There has to be room. The energy container is full. Something has to give.  And you might not even see it- but bad energy, resistance, anger, frustration? They take a lot out of you. They might be taking up the very space that new thing might need. 

How Spirit Guides Really Work

This is why spirit guides sometimes sound vague, or like they’re “holding back.”
Because they are.

They won’t give details that would keep you looping in a closed timeline. They won’t argue with your resistance. It won't serve you.

They’ll only offer what will serve you now — usually energetic steps you can take to open new doors.

That’s why channels like me often hear about what’s coming rather than how it’s coming. Because Spirit knows: eventually, you will align. And when you do — oh, baby, it’s instant.

You’ll have one good day, feel gorgeous, go shopping, and BOOM — magnet activated. It was always yours. You just had to match it long enough for it to land. It only has your signature on it, so it only COULD come to you. Either you created it or spirit did- so it has "just for Martha" on it.  

Spirit Is Basically a Sugar Mommy

Spirit is like,

“Listen baby, I love you so much. Here’s another entry point. Try again.”

Why?
Because it’s meant for you.

Your energy signature is on that manifestation. It’s exclusive.
No one else can claim it.

That’s why timing sometimes looks “wrong.”
Psychics read the most likely entry point based on your current alignment — but that can change with our choices, our vibration, if there are other people involved...so there are actually TONS of entry points. But you only ever take one of them. 

I’ve skipped entry points myself. I’ve literally delayed things by a year because I showed up to Spirit’s homework with a bad attitude. (Hence why I now take walks when I’m being an Ornery Toad.)

Once I integrated the lesson, I could see exactly what in my life or my moods and emotions caused me to skip the entry point. It was so obvious to me on the other side of it all. 

Ask Better Questions

Here’s where most people (including me) mess it up:
We ask closed questions.
We demand specifics.
We try to control divine logistics.

Spirit doesn’t work that way.

Ask open-ended questions like:

• “Show me what I’m not seeing.”

• “What am I not open to that could help me right now?”

• “Can you explain it to me like I’m five?”

• “Bring me resources to help me understand.”

These questions give Spirit permission to deliver without resistance — in a way you can integrate.

Why You Feel “Stuck”

When we pull a Martha, we lose faith.
We spiral.
We focus on what isn’t working — and our magnet flips.

We create more of what we focus on, and Spirit can’t save us from our own signal.

Spirit can’t override your free will. They can’t hand you what you’re blocking.
Only you can do that.

And poor Martha — she doesn’t even know she’s doing it. She just needs some loving energy healing to reset the focus and clear the static.

If You’re a Martha Right Now (No Shade — I’ve Been Her Too)

Here’s what I’d ask yourself:

• Where are you saying, “It can’t work”?

• Where are you telling yourself why something’s impossible?

Let’s take this example:

“My business isn’t making enough. I have to keep my full-time job. Spirit won’t move this for me.”

Here’s the energetic translation:

• “Not enough” = lack and powerlessness.

• “I can’t” = denial of choice.

• “Spirit won’t move this” = abandonment of self and Source.

The energy is closed.
Spirit has no entry point.

Balance can’t be delivered if there’s no space for it. Sometimes that means giving something up, or surrendering the need to control. The current energy container is full- which is why it's exhausting you, it's full of things that are not the right thing- that are discordant energy. So if nothing is let go of, nothing is shifted, nothing can come replace that energy or bring more. 

When Spirit told me about the studio space I was meant to rent a year before I did, I laughed out loud.

“What do you think I am, made of money?”

Turns out, they knew what was coming. And if I’d been a little less stubborn, I’d have had it sooner.  

They were just singing to me, "I know something you don't know, do daaa, do daaa..." and I had no idea what they meant! So frustrating. (And hilarious in retrospect.) 

How to Stop Being a Misguided Martha

1. Get mad — then channel it.
   Anger gives Spirit energy to work with. They love when you stand up for what you deserve.

2. Ask for intervention.
   Say, “Spirit, show me what’s better. Show me what’s blocking me. Explain it to me clearly.”

3. Watch your life stir like a cauldron.
   Conflicts that arise aren’t punishment — they’re clearing the path.

4. Stop keeping score.
   You can’t measure divine timing with human math.
